879. Insights: One year of FedNow: Has it changed payments in the US?

On this episode of Fintech Insider Insights, host Kate Moody is joined by some great guest to talk about FedNow.

In July last year the Federal Reserve launched Fednow, a new instant-payment service promised as the biggest update to the US Central Bank’s system since the 1970s.

When it launched we released a podcast asking whether or not FedNow would flop.

So, one year on and with 800 financial institutions signed up, has it flopped, has it not? Or is it still too early to tell?

This week's guests:

  1. Dave Morris - Global Head of Technology at 11:FS
  2. Stephany Kirkpatrick - Founder & CEO of Orum
  3. Sam Aarons - Co-Founder and CTO at Modern Treasury
